Mission
The Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc.
(REFI) leads the way for the community to enhance
quality education in Rockingham County Public
Schools.
Our
Purpose
- A non-profit, tax exempt corporation founded
in 1994 to promote academic achievement in the
Rockingham County Public Schools.
- An opportunity for those whose lives have
been enriched by Rockingham County teachers and
others in the field of education to express
gratitude and respect through memorial and honor
gifts and endowed scholarships.
- A program for community-minded donors to
direct their resources, regardless of the
amount, toward enhancing the quality of the
learning in the Rockingham County Public
Schools.
- An extension of Rockingham County's
successful business/school partnerships,
providing area businesses an avenue for
financial and in-kind contributions to
priorities established by the individual
schools.
