Are your
storage shelves full, is that supply room jammed
packed with "stuff"? Are there items you
don't want but hate to throw away? Then
there is an answer as close as the telephone.
Rockingham County Public Schools is partnering with
the Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc. to
create the
Teacher Supply Depot. These items
that you no longer want may be valuable to
schools and greatly appreciated by
classroom teachers and their students. It is
amazing the variety of use teachers can find for
items you may think of no value. They are
creative!
Your business may throw out
or store forever items that could be reused
in the classroom to improve student achievement.
The donations may be office products, obsolete
inventory, old logo products, left over promotional
materials, rejects or over runs, interesting
packing materials, computers, furniture, etc. These
donations may be tax deductible and possibly save
your company disposal fees.
We invite your company's
participation in this project.
Office supplies are always in demand, but throwaway
items such as wire carpet squares, wallpaper books,
fabric scraps also can be transformed into valuable
teaching tools.
