Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc.

Believing that a good education is vital to the economic and social health of a community, a group of citizens formed the Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc. in 1995 to enhance the quality of education in their community.

The Foundation is a 501 (C) 3 nonprofit organization governed by 25 volunteers that serve as the Board of Directors. Operational funds are derived from contributions from individuals, businesses, and fund raising events. The total budget is allocated to classroom grants, curriculum projects, scholarships, etc. The minimal administrative costs are entirely covered by contributions from the Board of Directors.
